When I first started playing Magic Sort, I treated every available pour as progress. I moved quickly, combined matching top colors whenever possible and filled empty tubes without considering how I might need that space later. These moves often made the board look cleaner for a few seconds, but several turns later I would suddenly see the frustrating "No Moves Left" message. I eventually realized that winning levels comes from strategy, not from playing faster, because a legal move can still be a strategically bad move. Every pour needs to be part of a larger sequence that creates space, reveals useful colors and protects future options.
