Around this same time last year, I put out a publication titled: 'To My Precious Readers,' and it was about how I didn't feel like writing that day. You can check it out.
I don't know if it's a March thing — I don't think it is — but currently, as I pen down this publication, I'm literally typing blind. I have no message pressing on my heart or in my head. However, I've got a lot of things running through my mind. I can sit and think of maybe ten things to write about. But they're probably not the message God has for you and me.
So, what does God have for us?
I don't know.
But the Scriptures know. And here's what it says:
"… Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, Neither have entered into the heart of man, The things which God hath prepared for them that love him." 1 Corinthians 2:9 KJV.
The TPT translation puts it this way: "… Things never discovered or heard of before, things beyond our ability to imagine — these are the many things God has in store for all his lovers."
Okay. I guess this is the Word of the Lord to us today, because it just came out of nowhere as I wrote.
This tells me two things.
- God always has something to say.
- Clarity comes when, and in the process of utilizing our gifts for God.
Eyes have not seen, ears have not heard, and even the heart hasn't conceived what God has in store for us, so how was I to know what today's message would be about? This is just on a lighter note.
However, like the title says, 'I know I'm Meant To Write', and that's exactly what I did, despite not knowing anything or being sure of how this publication would turn out. I hope this is a source of encouragement to you, who is reading this, to keep moving in the direction you sense God leading you. Clarity comes while doing.
I almost didn't write. I sat before my laptop and did everything else but write this publication. I finally decided and just asked the Holy Spirit to help me, and here we are, a couple of hundred words later.
As for the Word for today: 1 Corinthians 2:9, get ready. God is about to do something in your life. Something that no eyes have seen, no ears have heard, and no heart has conceived before, not even yours. It's going to be a game-changer, it's going to blow your mind, and be much bigger than you could ever have imagined.
I'm rooting for you, just as I know you're rooting for me, too.
