Microsoft Entra ID: Entitlement Management, PIM, & Access Reviews

In this article, we explored the solutions under Microsoft ID Governance; Entitlement Management, Privileged Access Management, and Access Reviews. Entitlement Management is a process that helps to automate how your organization assigns, reviews, and revokes access to resources. Within this section, you can find catalogs and access packages. A catalog is a container for the resources and is used to group related resources. The resources, are what you can put into an access package. Without adding resources to a catalog, you wouldn't be able to add them to the access package.

Once these resources are put together and accessed is assigned, you can then configure access reviews to determine who has access and should they still have that access. This is a powerful feature that allows you manage the identities in your environment efficiently. We also explored adding the Terms of Use, which requires end-users to accept in order to access company resources.
