My name is Alexandre Dias Ramalheiro, and I am a Sergeant in the Portuguese National Republican Guard (GNR), currently serving in the Intervention Unit — Public Order Intervention Group (GIOP).
My professional journey began in the Portuguese Army, where I joined the Commandos, one of the elite special forces units. During this period, I underwent demanding military training and participated in international missions, including deployment in Afghanistan.
In 2007, I attended the Police Academy (PSP), but ultimately chose to follow my true vocation by joining the GNR. I graduated as the top-ranked trainee of my course, marking the beginning of my operational career in public order and security.
Between 2011 and 2013, I attended the Sergeants Course within the GNR, assuming new responsibilities upon completion and returning to the Intervention Unit, where I continue to serve.
Throughout my career, I have been involved in operational policing, public order missions, and high-pressure environments requiring discipline, leadership, and resilience.
In 2023, I took a leave of absence to work internationally as a personal assistant to Cristiano Ronaldo and his family in Saudi Arabia. This role required a high level of discretion, organization, and adaptability in a demanding and high-profile environment.
My professional journey has been featured in national media, including television interviews and press publications, highlighting the unique story of three brothers serving in Portuguese security forces.
Today, I continue to serve in the GNR, committed to operational excellence and public service.
