Shri Venkateshwara University will host the Cyber Security Internship Program from 11th june.

Shri Venkateshwara University, along with UP Police Amroha, will organize the National Cyber Security Internship Program 2026 from 11th June onwards.

The cybersecurity internship program has been running for 4 years. This year, 10000 participants from 28 states and 8 Union Territories were screened online. Out of these, 850 were shortlist'd for the prestigious Cybersecurity internship.

Apart from police cyber-experts, over 2 dozen cyber experts from Delhi, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Gurugram, Hyderabad, and Chandigarh will nurture cyber warriors who will combat cybercrime in the country.

During the opening ceremony, the Venkateshwara Group Founder President Shri Sudhir Giri, along with ADG Bareilly Zone, IG, DIG, SP, ASP and a dozen high-ranking police officials, will interact with the participants.

Pro-chancellor Dr Rajeev Tyagi during a press conference at Shri Venkateshwara University briefed media persons. He said that 850 cyber warriors will be nurtured through this Cybersecurity internship program.

Over 2 dozen cyber experts will train 850 participants on ways to combat cybercrime in the country.

Under the direction of Amroha SP Mr. Lakhan Singh Yadav, DSP Mrs Anjali Katariya will be the Chief Program Coordinator. After 2 weeks of intensive cybersecurity training, the successful candidates will receive a certificate and 3 credits awarded by UP Police and Shri Venkateshwara University. This will be a benchmark of their cybersecurity expertise all over the world.

The VC, Dr KK Dave, Finance Director, CA Yuvraj Singh, and the Registrar, Dr Piyush Pandey, also addressed the press conference.

Those present included Dr Neetu Panwar, Dr Suman Kumari, Dr Ayesha Wahid, Dr Anjali Bhardwaj, Dr Shilpa Raina, Vishal Sharma, Rajiv Singh, Dr Rajwardhan, Dr Manish Sharma, and SS Baghel.

Also present were Dr Arun Goswami and the APO Krishnveer. From the Meerut Campus, the Director Operations, Dr Pankaj Kumar, was present along with the Media Incharge, Mr. Vishwas Rana, among others.
