My Cybersecurity Journey

I did it! I finally got the CompTIA Trifecta, I'm officially certified in CompTIA A+, Network +, as well as Security+ it took me about a year and 8 months, but honestly looking back I could have done all three certifications in about 8 months. This is such a cool feat for me because before I began studying for these certifications in order to establish a foot in IT I was so intimidated when it came to taking the actual exams for these certifications; now things don't seem as intimidating anymore I believe alot of things are possible with effort and hardwork.

I'm in the hunt for my first IT entry level position so as I am putting in applications, I am learning Active Directory by creating an Active Directory project where I work with Windows Sever 2025 and well as Windows 11 pro in a virtualized environement. I plan on finishing in the next 2 weeks and after that I will move on to learning packet capturing with WireShark. I want to get really good at working with a SIEM system such as Splunk so I've got my work cut out for me but this is what is required to eventually get into the Cyber Role that I want.
