I worked with Jérôme Laflamme and Simon Bourdon for approximately five months. At the time, they operated under Just A Company, which now operates under the name RebuildAI.
The collaboration started well. Communication was good, payments were made on time, and the project progressed normally. Toward the end, however, payments started being delayed, with various explanations regarding payment issues and company partners.
In early March, my work on the project ended, and I was assured that the remaining balance would be paid. It was not. I am still owed $4,203 USD for completed work.
I spent a long time trying to resolve this privately. I repeatedly contacted them, but eventually Jérôme Laflamme stopped responding, and I have received no meaningful response from either Jérôme or Simon Bourdon for a considerable period of time.
After exhausting private attempts to resolve the matter, I decided to make my experience public so that other developers, freelancers, clients, and business partners can make informed decisions before working with RebuildAI (formerly Just A Company), Jérôme Laflamme, or Simon Bourdon.
Because I have been unable to get any response for such a long period of time, I have also made the project repository publicly accessible. At this point, this is the only way I have found to bring attention to a situation that has otherwise been completely ignored.
