When people see you as strong, they stop asking how you really feel.

As if being resilient were a choice.

As if you could carry everything without breaking.

But no one talks about how exhausting it is to look strong.

Sometimes you just want someone to say, "Are you okay?"

Sometimes you want someone to remind you, "You don't have to carry all of this alone."

Being strong is nice, sure.

But having to appear strong…

That's what quietly wears a person down.

Maybe the real courage is being able to say, "I'm not okay today."
