AI & Cyber Security Awareness Programme Empowers Students Across Three Schools in Arniya Kalanโฆ
Promoting AI Literacy, Cyber Awareness and Responsible Digital Citizenship Among Young Minds

Artificial Intelligence (AI) and digital technologies are rapidly becoming an integral part of students' education and everyday lives. From AI-powered learning platforms and virtual assistants to social media, online payments, and digital communication, young people interact with technology every day.
However, the growing use of technology also brings emerging cyber security challenges, including phishing, online fraud, identity theft, deepfakes, voice cloning, social engineering, cyberbullying, misinformation, and AI-powered scams.
Recognizing the importance of preparing students for these challenges, TechDefenders (The Cyber Security Experts) conducted AI & Cyber Security Awareness Programmes at three schools in Arniya Kalan, District Shajapur, Madhya Pradesh.
The awareness initiatives were organized at:
- Saraswati Vidya Mandir School, Arniya Kalan, Shajapur (M.P.)
- Bright Future Academy, Arniya Kalan, Shajapur (M.P.)
- The Sunrise Public School, Arniya Kalan, Shajapur (M.P.)
The programmes focused on helping students understand Artificial Intelligence, cyber security, responsible technology usage, online safety, and practical ways to protect themselves in an increasingly digital world.
Empowering Students for an AI-Driven Digital Future
Artificial Intelligence is transforming the way people learn, communicate, work, and solve problems. Students are increasingly using AI tools for research, assignments, coding, language translation, content creation, image generation, and problem-solving.
While AI provides tremendous opportunities, students also need to understand its limitations and risks.
The awareness programmes introduced students to the fundamentals of Artificial Intelligence and explained how AI systems use data to perform tasks, identify patterns, generate content, and assist humans.
Students were encouraged to view AI not simply as a technological trend, but as a powerful tool that must be used ethically, responsibly, and intelligently.
The sessions also highlighted the importance of verifying AI-generated information and avoiding the misuse of AI for academic dishonesty, impersonation, misinformation, or other unethical activities.
Artificial Intelligence and Cyber Security
A major focus of the programmes was the connection between Artificial Intelligence and Cyber Security.
Students learned how AI can be used positively by cyber security professionals to identify suspicious activities, detect malware, analyze threats, monitor networks, and strengthen digital security.
At the same time, they were introduced to the growing misuse of AI by cybercriminals.
AI can make traditional cyber threats more convincing and scalable. Criminals can use AI to create realistic phishing messages, fake websites, manipulated images, deepfake videos, cloned voices, and sophisticated social engineering attacks.
The students were therefore encouraged to develop a simple but powerful habit:
Think before you click, verify before you trust, and report before the damage spreads.

Understanding Deepfakes and Voice Cloning
One of the important areas discussed during the programmes was the growing threat of deepfake technology and voice cloning.
Students learned that Artificial Intelligence can now be used to create highly realistic fake videos, images, and voices. Such technologies can be misused to impersonate individuals, spread misinformation, manipulate people, and facilitate financial fraud.
The students were taught to be cautious when receiving unexpected video calls, voice messages, photographs, payment requests, or urgent instructions from people they know.
They were encouraged to independently verify suspicious requests through another trusted communication channel before taking action.
Interactive Learning and Real-Life Cyber Security Examples
The awareness programmes followed an interactive learning approach rather than relying only on conventional classroom lectures.
Students participated in discussions, quizzes, examples, and practical demonstrations related to cyber security and Artificial Intelligence.
They explored questions such as:
- How can we identify a phishing message?
- How can we recognize suspicious links?
- Can an online image or video be trusted immediately?
- How does voice cloning work?
- Why should we protect our OTPs and passwords?
- How can social media posts affect our digital footprint?
- What should we do after becoming a victim of cyber fraud?
- How can AI be used responsibly for education and learning?
These discussions helped students understand that cyber security is not only the responsibility of technical professionals. Every internet user plays an important role in maintaining digital security.
Saraswati Vidya Mandir School, Arniya Kalan
The AI & Cyber Security Awareness Programme at Saraswati Vidya Mandir School, Arniya Kalan, Shajapur (M.P.) focused on developing fundamental awareness among students about Artificial Intelligence, cyber security, and responsible digital behaviour.
The session introduced students to modern cyber threats and practical methods of protecting their online identity.
The programme was delivered by Mr. Ujjwal Kumawat, Founder of TechDefenders (The Cyber Security Experts), Cyber Security Expert, ISEA Master Trainer, ISEA Cyber Ambassador, and Cisco Certified Ethical Hacker.
Through practical examples and discussions, Mr. Ujjwal Kumawat explained how students can safely use digital technologies, identify suspicious online activities, protect their personal information, and use Artificial Intelligence responsibly.
The students actively participated in the programme and showed enthusiasm in understanding emerging technologies and cyber security challenges.
Bright Future Academy, Arniya Kalan
The awareness programme at Bright Future Academy, Arniya Kalan, Shajapur (M.P.) similarly focused on preparing students to navigate the digital world safely and responsibly.
Students were introduced to Artificial Intelligence, cyber security fundamentals, online scams, phishing, social engineering, digital privacy, safe social media practices, and emerging AI-enabled threats.
The session was conducted by Mr. Ujjwal Kumawat, Founder of TechDefenders (The Cyber Security Experts), Cyber Security Expert, ISEA Master Trainer, ISEA Cyber Ambassador, and Cisco Certified Ethical Hacker.
The interactive nature of the session encouraged students to ask questions and participate in discussions around real-world cyber security situations.
The programme emphasized that students should not blindly trust online information, unknown links, suspicious messages, or unexpected requests for personal and financial information.
The Sunrise Public School, Arniya Kalan
The AI & Cyber Security Awareness Programme at The Sunrise Public School, Arniya Kalan, Shajapur (M.P.) focused on helping students understand the opportunities offered by Artificial Intelligence while also recognizing the risks associated with modern digital technologies.
The session was delivered by Mr. Vikas Parmar, ISEA Master Trainer and Cyber Ambassador.
Through engaging discussions, practical demonstrations, and real-life cybercrime examples, Mr. Vikas Parmar explained the importance of cyber awareness, responsible AI usage, digital privacy, and online safety.
Students were introduced to threats such as phishing, deepfakes, voice cloning, online fraud, social engineering, and identity theft.
The session also encouraged students to develop critical thinking skills when consuming digital content and to verify suspicious information before sharing or acting upon it.
The students participated enthusiastically and demonstrated curiosity about Artificial Intelligence, cyber security, and the rapidly changing digital environment.
Promoting Responsible Use of Artificial Intelligence
Across all three programmes, students were encouraged to follow some basic principles of responsible technology usage:
Verify before you trust. AI-generated information, images, videos, and messages should not automatically be considered genuine.
Protect your personal information. Passwords, OTPs, banking details, identification documents, and other sensitive information should never be shared with unknown individuals.
Think before clicking. Unknown links, QR codes, attachments, and suspicious messages should be treated carefully.
Use Multi-Factor Authentication. MFA provides an additional layer of protection for important online accounts.
Be careful on social media. Students were encouraged to understand their digital footprint and review the privacy settings of their social media accounts.
Report cyber fraud quickly. Victims of cyber financial fraud should report incidents through the appropriate official cybercrime reporting channels and the Cyber Crime Helpline 1930 as soon as possible.
Use AI as a learning assistant, not as a shortcut for unethical practices.
Encouraging Students to Become Responsible Digital Citizens
One of the central messages of the programmes was that cyber security begins with awareness.
Technology will continue to evolve, and new forms of cybercrime will continue to emerge. Students therefore need more than technical knowledge. They need the ability to question, verify, identify risks, and make responsible decisions online.
The programmes encouraged students to become responsible digital citizens who can use technology confidently while respecting privacy, security, ethics, and the rights of others.
The enthusiastic participation of students demonstrated the growing interest among young learners in Artificial Intelligence and Cyber Security.
