This step is a big one for me and gives me the confidence to continue to shape my career as I learn more about cloud roles.
This transition was not an easy one for me, as it requires time, commitment, and drive to improve my understanding of the cloud. This is something I have been thinking about for a while, but finally taking this step has been nerve-racking and exciting. I want to shout out to Soleyman and his team, who have built a great program that allows me to have a structure I have been looking for.
Week 1 came with fun tasks and challenges, and finally setting up a workspace like AWS, which I always wanted to get my hands dirty with, has been the most exciting part. There were some projects and assignments from week 1 that I had performed before, which felt like a forgotten part of my learning, but were very helpful in refreshing my memory.
My Goal:
Using different shell scripts and learning cloud fundamentals reminded me that this is part of my journey. I am looking forward to the day-to-day process to reach my goal of becoming a Cloud Engineer.
Although I might not have quite the experience many others do at this time. But I have great confidence that if I keep working hard, life finds opportunities for those who stay committed to the course.
If you are a person coming from a similar background and would like to know more about the cloud, reach out and we can connect.
