[Introduction]
You know that moment when you just want to sharpen your web app skills, and the lab sends you on a full stack detour you didn't sign up for? That frustration can now kick rocks. Everyone say hello to WebVerse Pro, a web-focused hacking platform created by a 17 year old hacker named Leighlin Ramsey with a really interesting story. This kid's grind goes harder than the Ed's in Ed, Edd N' Eddy.
Disclaimer: No affiliation, no sponsorship, no free access, just a guy who fell down a rabbit hole and wanted to share it.
[What is WebVerse Pro]
The best way to explain WebVerse Pro is, imagine HTB labs but ONLY focused on web app. At the time of this blog, there are 35 active labs available that range from 'Foundational' to 'Master' skills. Within those labs you can choose from either quick single attack challenges, or hit a multi chained attack for the full lab experience. The timing of this could not have been better either as I believe the next coming week or so a full cyber range is in the process of being released. Additionally, WebVerse Pro just introduced daily and weekly challenges to appease those achievement nerd (like me).
Like any group in 2026, there is a Discord community already established as well, which has some solid activity going. Especially from Leighlin who I'm pretty sure just downs a couple of Monsters at 1am and gets to work. Which is awesome as he seems to be extremely receptive to community feedback for features.
There is currently a free and paid tier which as of right now goes for $12.99 per month. Which I will touch on a bit more in a bit when giving my honest opinion on the platform.
[What Got Me Here]
When I was first shown this website, I had some hesitation. Mainly because my days are already so packed, that the thought of adding another platform to my rotation seemed exhausting. If you know me, you know that I'm one of the biggest BugForge fans in the world, so why would I want to look at a competitor right now. For those reasons I stayed away and really just didn't think about it.
Then a good friend of mine had a lab published called NewsForge (shout-out to 7s26Simon, someone please go buy him a coffee). How could I NOT go support the homie now. So I signed up for WebVerse Pro and knocked out that fun lab, then before I knew it the family was already in bed and I was still doing challenges/labs and have been on daily since.
[The Good]
I love how many options the platform offers in terms of challenges and lab, as I'm currently working on OSCP, so my outside time is limited at times. Even while on the free tier, I'm able to hit enough labs to keep me interested for more than a weekend. So far the vulnerabilities and chains I've seen existing in here have been pretty fun and complex, so it's not just a simple brute force and call it a day type of environment.
[The Bad]
There's no perfect thing in this world (except my wife and child obviously), so to be fair I'm going to just give some things that linger in the back of my mind.
On the site you are met with AI generated images for the labs, and does have a very vibe codey look and feel to it. Having 35 labs pushed out so quick also threw up that AI flag for me. I don't know if this is actually the case and quite frankly even if it is, it's a non-factor for me right now. I think a year ago this would have been a taboo thing to even slightly use it for images or any part, but we live in different time. Having recently created my own lab for personal use, getting fully working vulnerable labs does take some knowledge of what you are implementing to get it going. So busting out 35 labs that work so well (I've tried to break it, and they are sandboxed pretty dang well).
I thought it was a bit ballsy to throw in a paid plan with locked labs so early in release with no community built. I'm just not ready to commit $200 (you get a discount for the yearly purchase) for a subscription, and honestly with the existing platforms out there I can't justify the monthly either. The more I play with it and hear the thoughts for the future, I can see me changing to a paid pro tier though. This is just where I'm at today. The free tier does offer enough to stay satisfied right now. Also it is a business offering a great product, so respect the hustle.
[Final Verdict]
I'm highly recommending this platform to anyone at any skill level looking to get some web focused reps in. I think this platform has some good potential and if Leighlin sticks with it, I think this is going to be a common name in the community. Come say hi in the discord, and as always HAPPY HUNTING!
