Challenging Midjourney Prompts and Artists on Facebook

I have found social media to be a great source for finding lots of Midjourney and AI Image information. I find the most information on Facebook and on X. I follow a few Facebook Midjourney groups and check in regularly to see what people are posting.

I have found a large number of Midjourney Artists who share their art and prompts on their Facebook feeds and group pages. A few of the groups also post challenge topics and invite you to participate and contribute your own prompts and images to match the theme.

I am constantly seeing new artists, art, and themes pop up on these groups.

One of these Facebook Groups is called Open-Source Midjourney Challenges Unlimited at https://www.facebook.com/groups/openmidjourney.

This group is a public group which you can view without becoming a member — and its membership is now over 2,000 members.

In this article I will share some recent challenge topics and some images posted as examples of the challenge.

The Administrator and Midjourney Artists whose prompts and images are featured in this article are: Her Bia (link), Claas Denkert (link), The Prompter (link), and Darja Vorontsova (link),

For each of the challenges, I have posted the challenge topic, and a link adminstrator who posted it, followed by an actual image and prompt, and finally an image that I created using the same prompt.

I read the text of the challenges and viewed the images posted for each challenge. I found interesting images and prompts and created my own images using the prompts.

In each case I tried to get as close as I could to the artist's conception. After viewing the ones that I created — I thought about how I would modify each prompt to go in new directions.
