This code is a block of encrypted text that includes your contact information. You have two options for generating your CSR: you can use an automated CSR generator or manually generate it. Once you've created your CSR, simply open it with a text editor and copy its contents into the appropriate field when ordering your SSL certificate.

Install an SSL Certificate on VestaCP

Before proceeding with the SSL installation, make sure to receive the necessary SSL files from your certificate authority (CA). Download the ZIP folder and extract its contents to your local computer.

For the SSL installation, you will require the following:

• A primary SSL certificate, with a .crt extension, specifically issued for your domain.
• A private key file generated along with the CSR code.
• A CA Bundle that comprises Intermediate and Root certificates, ensuring better browser compatibility.

After preparing the SSL installation files, carry out the following steps:

• Log in to your VestaCP dashboard and go to the WEB tab
• Choose the domain you want to secure and click Edit
• On the Editing Domain page, ensure the SSL Support option is selected
• Uncheck the Let's Encrypt Support option

-SSL Certificate: insert your primary SSL certificate

-SSL Key: paste your private key file

-SSL Certificate Authority/Intermediate: input your CA Bundle

• Scroll down and hit Save.
