Has the world ever seen a culture more insecure than that of the modern Euro-descendant, whose power depends so much on maintaining a lie as ridiculously fragile – so easily debunked once you realize it's being fed to you 24/7 – as white racial superiority?

Less Defensible Than a King's Devine Right

For an everyday person living under a Monarch, the notion that Monarchs govern by Devine Right couldn't have been so outlandish. You hardly ever encountered your ruler, much less worked with him in close quarters. Kings also had people at their service to help them rule somewhat competently, or at least appear to do so.

Besides maintaining your cabinet members, and making yourself scarce to the masses, not much else seemed necessary to remain a legitimate King, particularly in peacetime. With the church on your side, you had to mess up pretty badly for people to really start questioning your Devine Right.

On the other hand, to convince everyone that an entire "race" of people should rule over a whole "other race" demands relentless campaigning. Basically, you have to rewrite history every day just to counter what people witness the "superiors" doing regularly.

In replacing one Monarch with a population of mini-monarchs, and the faith-based Monarchy with the race-based Republic, politics in the western world became over-reliant not only on church and violence — but now also on widespread disinformation thru mass media, including the multi-billion dollar text-book industry.

Mass Media and Ourstorical Amnesia

Storytelling was communal at one time, and intimately tied to knowledge, which was densely packed into allegory for meaningful and effective education. Now storytelling is commercial, and too tied to scribing, which gets sold "per word" to maximize volume — noise — and minimize educational potency.

Mass media hides, behind a wall of noise, all knowledge of substance, including that which truly exposes the lie of black inferiority.

Book burnings and witch hunts are no longer enough to keep a governing class in power. In a western-style Republic, you must also promote the lie of white superiority — while pretending not to do so — through a constant stream of words and images delivered via print, radio, film, and television.

The best funded media outlets put mostly whites on display even in majority black and brown countries. When racism becomes impossible to ignore — as it is today — these outlets either confuse us about the nature of the problem, or trivialize it by focusing on gossip like "is [enter newest white female celebrity name here] appropriating black culture by wearing loop earrings?"

It's an uphill battle against ourstorical amnesia even for the most conscious of us.

A Pan-Africanist Critique of CRT

The media will say, for instance, "let's all talk about the teaching of Critical Race Theory", meaning "let's argue over whether white society should get criticized so openly — and not actually address the valid criticism."

They don't ask "should we teach pre-colonial African history, or even a single African language?"

An African language being taught at a public school? That's unthinkable, since it could disrupt the school's Euro-centric focus, plus reveal that Blacks are more than ex-slaves presumably brought forth from the jungle.

Thus Euro-descendants continue to take center stage in mass media, which includes the school system. Shockingly enough: sooner or later, constantly being in the spotlight will get you plenty of negative attention as well as praise. Yet the thought of Euro-descendants leaving the classroom spotlight remains a non-starter in a Euro-centric order.

Collapsing Order That Yet Persists

I keep telling folks: "I know it feels like the end of the world, but it's really just the end of Western culture – again."

Despite all the noise, the lie of white supremacy still gets exposed again and again, triggering major social movements every generation or two (we're in the middle of one, though much of it has been co-opted). By now we're used to pretending nothing was hidden to begin with, covering up not only the lie of white superiority, but the fact that the lie explodes all the time.

Everyone "knows" about racism — just look at most of the countries being invaded militarily, economically, and culturally by the West. At the same time, no one "sees" racism outside the rare "crazy Karen" or "bad apple" in law enforcement making headlines. We can't "see" it — because we're swimming in it, if not drowning. Racism is real and not-real for most people.

In other words: exactly what George Orwell called "Doublethink", a more sinister, more mainstream dimension of the "Double Consciousness" afflicting Black people according to W.E.B Dubois. With such insane contradictions — "war is peace, freedom is slavery, ignorance is strength" — the racialized core of the Western world can barely keep from collapsing on itself.

It's hard to imagine a less stable order than Western "civilization." It's more like organized barbarity. Chaos is built into the system, in the form of perpetual war, with economic crashes or downturns at regular intervals. The West is great at sowing turmoil and division — then presenting itself as the definition of "order."

That's why it's such an uphill battle for folks who want to organize, and why we can't have truly great architecture, like the Pyramids of Giza. Chaos is both the greatest weakness and best defense of the Western world. Everything's made of ticky-tacky precisely due to the destructive logic sustaining racism. Otherwise anti-blackness would naturally go away by allowing everybody to develop in peace for just a few centuries. In fact, non-pigmented skin (a genetic-recessive trait) would soon be bred out of humanity if we went too long without a major war.

So they never get tired of apocalyptic wars, or the many conflicts in between those wars. War is how they hit "reset" on everything whenever Black consciousness reaches a certain stage, or when certain populations start browning. That's basically all there is to western "civilization."

Orwell's Limitation

George Orwell could not see, let alone show, the actual precariousness of Western power, much less how it all relates to the lie of white supremacy. He was too steeped in it from birth, as the son of a British Colonial Civil Servant.

The psychological warfare Orwell feared as all-consuming and even fatal is a non-issue for those steeped in rich, non-western traditions. He doesn't acknowledge culture for the true refuge that it is.

Thus, perhaps without knowing it, Orwell flatters the colonizer by suggesting the propaganda and surveillance efforts of the West can be anything more than symptoms of deep self-delusion.

More than a warning about totalitarianism, 1984 can promote a grandiose notion of Western dominance, regardless of Orwell's intention. It's often required reading at the High School level precisely because — in the hands of the school system — 1984 is Euro-centric self-aggrandizement, and fear mongering, parading as self-criticism.

Being First: Africa's Continuing Burden

Being the first to achieve anything, let alone so much of what makes up civilized life, means developing a creative, productive mindset. More than anything else, this mindset characterizes African cultures, especially the oldest of them.

By contrast, a newcomer can choose to either develop the same creative mindset — or learn to exploit those who already have. Europeans, being among the last on the world scene, developed a culture of exploitation. Of course, there are Afro-descendant exploiters, just like there are Euro-descendant creatives, but exploitation is more central to European culture.

This separation between exploiter and exploited is one aspect of anti-blackness. Though Africans come in all skin colors, generally speaking the darker you are the more likely it is that you're descended from an African culture, making you more of a target for exploiters, whom also come in all colors but are more prevalent among whites.

The other, even deeper cause of anti-blackness is the genetic-recessive status of non-pigmented skin, a connection first proposed by psychologist Dr. Francis Cress Welsing.

As sight-dependent creatures, humans rely on visible traits to identify offspring, skin color being the most prominent. Intermixing with pigmented groups triggers fear of genetic annihilation among the non-pigmented, even though skin color is only a small fraction of the genetic data that gets passed on. Had humanity somehow evolved first in Europe, this fear might instead afflict the pigmented populations.

Resolving Fear of Genetic Annihilation

As much as the Moorish conquest contributed to Europe's development, it may also have set off the irrational fear of genetic annihilation that could be driving Europe's continuing assault on the rest of the world.

Allowing people of any skin color the option to socialize, and even to live, only among those who look like them, with more control over when and how they intermix, may be the only way to resolve any fear of genetic annihilation.

That's not to advocate for any kind of Segregation, Apartheid or Jim Crow — only to say that folks should be able to choose between mixed and non-mixed company, which Blacks can barely do today (now forced to be around whites to get anywhere economically), let alone during those racist regimes (when they had to remain among each other).

Resolving Exploitation

"Black" is really a creative culture, not a skin color, though there's strong overlap between the two. Among the dark-skinned, many fully adopt the Western, "color-blind" perspective. They don't engage Blackness except to dismiss it as "promoting stereotypes," as if full assimilation into Euro-centric culture isn't already a tired trope.

Black culture is what really needs protection, black skin being only its flawed proxy. The culture must not only stay creative, it must also become inaccessible to exploiters and their enablers — just as European culture must become less exploitative.

The Need for Cultural Identity

White supremacy is only the ideological gift-wrap of anti-blackness, which is based on how fear of intermixing and the desire to exploit reinforce each other at the heart of Western culture.

For what it's worth, at least George Orwell tried to mind his own business — a severely underrated art form demanding a base level of culture lacking in far too many westerners, who confuse it for "quietude" and rugged individualism.

A democratic society needs real communities, and real communities are based on cultural identity, another underdeveloped concept, confused by westerners with "identity politics" or even "skin color."

Any real solution to the race problem must start with accepting and developing the cultural identity we're each born into, instead of pretending it doesn't exist.
