I never thought I'd find myself in Tech. I used to believe it was something only "Math geniuses" and "computer wizards" could handle. The idea of writing code felt fascinating but very intimidating as well, and for a long time, I stayed away from it, convinced it would be too hard. But curiosity has a way of pushing you beyond your fears. I loved the idea of writing codes, building things, creating, and designing.

One day, I came across a YouTube tutorial on HTML, to see what it was about, I decided to watch it. That single video changed everything. As I wrote my first few lines of code and saw a webpage come to life, I felt an excitement I hadn't experienced in a long time; It wasn't just about the technical aspect, I genuinely enjoy building things. I have always had this affinity towards computers, designing, and creating – and frontend development felt like the perfect blend of all these interests.

Of course, my long-term goal is to become a full-stack developer, but I understand that every great journey starts with a single step. Frontend development is my entry point, the foundation upon which I will build my skills before transitioning into backend development, and that's where HNG comes in.

HNG offers more than just an internship; it's a structured, fast-paced learning experience that mimics real-world challenges. It's an opportunity to work on real projects, collaborate with other developers, and sharpen my problem-solving skills. More importantly, it's a chance to learn from industry professionals who have walked the path I'm just beginning.

Through HNG, I hope to gain hands-on experience, build a strong portfolio, and develop the confidence to tackle front-end technologies. I also want to master frameworks like React.js, as it's widely used in modern web development. Many companies today hire React.js developers, and I plan to make it my next step after solidifying my HTML, CSS, and Javascript skills. Refining my CSS skills through HNG's tasks will help me create visually appealing, responsive designs – an essential skill for any front-end developer aiming to stand out in the industry. CSS is a powerful tool, and companies looking for top-tier talent often seek developers with strong design precision, as seen on Hire CSS Developers from HNG

This is more than just an internship for me – it's the beginning of something great. Joining HNG isn't just about coding – it's about joining a community that pushes boundaries.

HNG is my stepping stone to becoming a skilled full-stack developer, and I'm ready to embrace every challenge that comes my way. Here's to writing code that matters!
