AS YOU MAY KNOW…Matt Brash tossed another scoreless inning of relief last night, extending his scoreless streak to 18 appearances…in 18 games this year, the right-hander has 1 save and a 0.00 ERA (0 ER, 16.1 IP) with 17 strikeouts and 6 walks, but…BUT DID YOU KNOW?…Brash has already compiled 1.1 wins above replacement (bWAR), 12th-most among American League relief pitchers?…he ranks 2nd on the team behind only Andrés Muñoz (1.7 bWAR, 4th in AL)…Brash's 16.1 scoreless innings streak is the longest active scoreless streak in the Major Leagues…Brash's 18 appearances are also the most to begin a season without allowing a run in Mariners history.

CAL RALEIGH TO PARTICIPATE IN 2025 HOME RUN DERBY…Major League Baseball announced that Mariners catcher Cal Raleigh has been selected to participate in the 2025 T-Mobile Home Run Derby, set for Monday, July 14 at Truist Park…Cal's father, Todd Raleigh, is slated to be Raleigh's pitcher in the event. Todd, who throws right-handed, was the head baseball coach at Western Carolina University (2000–07) and the University of Tennessee (2008–11)…Raleigh will attempt to become the first catcher to win the Home Run Derby, an event that started in 1985…Cal is set to be the eighth different Mariners player to participate in the Home Run Derby, joining Hall of Famers Ken Griffey Jr. (8x, 1990, '92–94, '97-'00) and Edgar Martinez (2000), along with Jay Buhner (1996), Alex Rodriguez (1998), Bret Boone (2x, 2001, '03), Robinson Canó (2016), and teammate Julio Rodríguez (2x, 2022–23).
"I'm excited to represent the Mariners and our fanbase at the [Home Run] Derby," Raleigh said. "It will be extra special for me getting to do it in Atlanta, where I spent a lot of time playing baseball as a kid."

MUÑOZ: LA ESTRELLA…right-hander Andrés Muñoz made the American League All-Star team last season and has been one of the game's best closers in 2025…in 32 appearances this season, Muñoz is 3–1 with 18 saves and a 1.16 ERA (4 ER, 31.0 IP) with 41 strikeouts and 13 walks, posting a 0.90 WHIP, 11.74 strikeouts-per-9 innings rate, and holding opponents to a .144 batting average (15x104).
HOW 'BOUT EDDY B…right-handed reliever Eduard Bazardo tossed scoreless 11th and 12th innings on Friday night, stranding the automatic baserunner in both instances to capture the 7–6 win…in 36 appearances this season, Bazardo has put together a career-year…he is 3–0 with a 2.98 ERA (14 ER, 42.1 IP) with 36 strikeouts and 18 walks, holding opponents to a .189 batting average.
"DOMMIE" BARRELS?…outfielder Dominic Canzone homered in yesterday's game…since his recall from Triple-A Tacoma on June 9, Canzone is batting .288 (15x52) with 9 runs, 2 doubles, 5 home runs, 8 RBI and 3 walks in 16 games…he is slugging .615 with a .942 OPS…his 5 home runs are tied for 12th-most in the big leagues since June 9 and trail only Cal Raleigh (6 HR) for most homers on the team in that span.
BEN & COLE…the Mariners rookie infielders have been shining at the plate lately…over his last 18 games (6/6-c), third baseman Ben Williamson is hitting .291 (16x55) with 3 doubles…over his last 17 contests (6/7-c), second baseman Cole Young is batting .298 (17x57) with 7 runs, 3 doubles and 6 RBI.
