It's baffled me for some time now and the talented folk over at @intercom wrote about this almost a year ago and at this point, I'm just curious: Why do designers place so much more emphasis on one of the principles: Good design is aesthetic over the others? Is that because design is primarily taught in art schools and it is these artists that have found their way to a more rewarding industry? Or is it something deeper than that?
