Canine Contemplation — But How Many Are There?

One dog? Two dogs? A pack?

It could be a full pack but if so most of them are out of shot.

It could be two black labradors looking in opposite directions.

But it's neither of those. It's the Caped Crusader looking over her shoulder into a field of sheep. I think she's wondering if they're mini snowdrifts because where did all the white stuff go?
