First of all, thank you, thank you, thank you, to everyone who gave their input on my last post about what cover photo I should use for my new podcast. I was certainly not expecting such an overwhelming response to that piece.

The consensus was that Attempt #1 was the winner–hands down.

I obviously knew that was the one I was going to choose because it is the most flattering photo of me. I'm so vain like that.

Attempt #3 got her fair share of votes as well but ultimately I figured that the text would be too difficult to read as a thumbnail image.

Attempt #2 was too weird and sad for anyone to vote for.

With the suggestions of several very thoughtful commentators like Jeanne-Erin I adjusted the text and faded out the background for better readability. I can't even adequately explain how much I love you all for helping me with this very important (to me) topic.

I'm also excited to let everyone know that Episode One of Self Respectless is live and ready for your awaiting ears!

It's awkward and sweaty just like me, so you'll probably either love it or hate it.

"I'm laughing almost peeing myself over the bloopers–they were the best part."

"Leave out some of the dramatics when reading the stories. Like some is great but if you overdo it, it gets a bit phony." Point taken and agreed. What can I say? I get dramatic and weird when I'm feeling nervous.

"So funny I listened to it twice. The stories are awesome but its hilarious when you're talking too." –My brother's feedback (of course he liked it because it was all about him).
