POETRY

shadows fall across the land as we gather hand in hand

bonfires light our course all for love, no remorse

in a circle, round about cast off our worldly doubt

lovers cuddle by the fire dancers dance to inspire

once a year we gather here usher in a festive year

come, dear Cupid, from above welcome this our age of love
