Narcissists look for validation, gratification and benefits.

They always have a partner who takes care of the benefits part.

You might not know about them, or you might, unbeknown to you, be that partner.

Now, for validation, narcissists can get validation from:

• A waiter/waitress.
• The homeless bum sitting outside goodwill.
• Their neighbor.
• A co-worker.
• People on the internet.

Basically any stranger who's friendly to/likes the narcissist.

Gratification they can get from:

• Porn.
• Chatsites.
• Drugs.
• Gambling.
• Random people.

Narcissists never depend on one single person.

The narcissist will be fine, there are more than enough people out there that are willing to entertain the narcissist.

You don't need to go out socially anymore, to meet people in this day and age.

Due to that development narcissists won't perish, simply by the lack of one person.
