I am sure you have seen posts like this before. Some of them with actual tricks that might work. But this is not going to be like that. No tricks. No special magic. I promise. Instead, this will be a short overview of why you might not be getting your account approved.

I will be sharing some common practices that if done right, will get you your Payoneer account approved faster than you might think.

I have been running a Facebook group called Payoneer Pakistan for a couple of years now. People share their problems and I help them figure out (or at least I try). Most of the complains I receive are about people not receiving their credit cards on time. I published an article about that too.

But on top of that, the most common problem I've seen these days is account not getting approved. After receiving a lot of such questions and me asking them how did they sign up, I think these three are the common mistakes people make when signing up for a new Payoneer Account:

  • Having multiple accounts
  • Not using their own contact information
  • Not submitting proper documents for account verification

Having multiple accounts…

…is not particularly a bad thing. You might have signed up for an account via a freelancing website and tend not to use it anymore. But if your previous account has had some issues or you have violated some kind of Payoneer policy, most likely you'll get your new account blocked as well. So, I'd suggest that you keep only one account, but if you do need to have another account (like I do), make sure you are not violating any Payoneer policy.

Not using their own contact information

I have three Payoneer accounts right now. All three of them are verified under my own name and they are all in operation. I've never had any trouble with Payoneer at all.

I've attached the bank account that I've on my own name. I respond to every email Payoneer send asking for documents verification. In short, I do not mess with the contact information and account verification.

Not submitting proper documents for account verification

A girl called from the Facebook group asking for some help. She was in some kind of "video business" and needed to get her money transferred to her Payoneer account. I told her to signup for a new account and she did. But it never got approved. So, I checked her account. First thing I noticed was that she wasn't using her own name on the Payoneer account but instead her social media name (Oh C'mon). Second, the email she used to signup, was of her friends' email account (like seriously). And then she decided to use her brother's CNIC for documents verification. Good luck getting that account approved!

I really don't understand why people think it would be okay to use someone else's documents for verification for something that's pretty much equal to any other bank account in the world.

You can't just get an account in a bank with your own name but provide your cousin's driving license for verification, can you now? It's the same for Payoneer. Use your own information. Use your own documents.

This is the simplest I could make it explain for you to get your account approved. All you have to do is not lie and use correct information.
