WORLD POETRY DAY AT PAPER POETRY
This poem is a tribute to International Women's Day 2026 and World Poetry Day, inspired by the theme "Give to Gain."

No one sees the woman who is beautiful but broken.
No one sees the poet hidden within her weary eyes.
not even she herself, as
No one encourages her talent she hides in the corners of her heart.
No one understand the verses she buries deep inside.
No one hear the echoes of her silent screams that come out for her shattered dreams.
No one stands behind her in struggling days assuming she is fine, and will manage by her own ways.
No one feels the depth of her pain for she has never learned to complain.
No one notices the invisible weight she carried that was never truly hers to bear.
No one comes when she finds herself in the dark & slowly losing her fragile spark.
No one told her she is wise and could rise,
so she herself learned to see strength in her own eyes and believed that she could touch the skies.
No one gave her words to say, so she turned her silence into her own way.
No one allowed her to speak and dare, so she found her voice herself to share.
When she was at her weakest, no one — except herself — was the nearest.
Yet her time will come,
When her unspoken, buried thoughts turn into words. When her break-free words are finally heard.
The world that ignored her, that never knew her worth, will gather to praise her voice and her truth. Because the same woman they treated like dust and dirt, rose as a poet — through silence and hurt.

She always give pieces of herself to a world that turns away.
So today, we should honor
her spirit, her voice, her unseen fight, her courage, her quiet strength, & her inner light —
for every woman carries a poet burning bright.
This poem is my reflection of a woman once unseen and unheard, who, without encouragement, learned to give herself strength — and in doing so, discovered her voice, her worth, and the poet within.
