What is TON?

TON, short for The Open Network, is a decentralized first-layer public chain designed for billions of users, with scalability and sharding capabilities.

Initially known as the Telegram Open Network (TON), it aimed to build a distributed, high-performance blockchain platform that supports decentralized applications and digital assets. It is a blockchain project created by Telegram, hence affectionately referred to as the Telegram Chain.

In the past year, TON has seen significant growth, with active user addresses growing by 2.5 times, daily transaction volume reaching approximately $220,000, and TVL (Total Value Locked) on the TON chain reaching $53.43 million. Against the backdrop of TON's explosive growth, an increasing number of users are seeking tools to issue tokens on the TON chain. Today's article mainly focuses on teaching users how to issue tokens on the TON chain using PandaTool.

Tutorial on Minting Tokens on the TON Chain

Connect Tonkeeper Wallet

None

First, open the TON chain token issuance link: https://ton.pandatool.org/, and click on "Connect Wallet" in the upper right corner.

Select "Wallets" in the popup page (do not use the QR code login, as wallets connected by scanning cannot operate token issuance).

A list of wallets will appear, find Tonkeeper, and click on it to connect.

The wallet will prompt you to confirm the connection.

After successful connection, you can see your wallet address in the upper right corner.

Once the information is confirmed, click "Create Token". After confirming and successfully paying in the wallet, wait a few seconds, and you will see the page for the token you issued, where you can manage the token through this page.

You can also view your token data on the blockchain explorer.

Modify Token Parameters Tokens issued on the TON chain come with default permissions, including modifying token names, logos, introductions, and increasing the number of tokens issued. You can choose to use these permissions to modify token parameters or relinquish them.

First, enter your token contract address in the search box on the token issuance page and click search.

After waiting a few seconds, you will see your token control panel management page, and then click "Edit Token" to modify the parameters.

On the editing page, fill in the new token full name, token symbol, and token introduction, then click save. A wallet will pop up, and after confirmation, the update will be completed.

Add Token to Wallet

After issuing tokens, you may not see them in your wallet. You need to add them to display in your wallet. Here's how to do it:

Open Tonkeeper, click on settings.

None

In the settings page, select token settings.

None

You will see all the tokens in your wallet address. If you want it to be displayed, check the box. If you don't want it to be displayed, uncheck the option.

This completes the entire process of issuing tokens on the TON chain. We believe that in the near future, with the continuous expansion of the TON chain ecosystem, more and more people will complete the creation work through this token issuance tool.
