If you want to kick alcohol, here are three recommendations:

Tips N°1:

If you're drinking a lot, cut it down by like 10% over 10 days, that way you're probably not going to go into withdrawal.

That's important.

If you're going to go in withdrawal, then you need to be under medical supervision because DT's delirium tantrums are potentially fatal for some people.

Tips N°2:

Begin to see alcohol not as your friend, that's sort of the biggest thing.

I want you to begin to see the bottle and a small brain.

See the bottle, and more fat on your body.

See the bottle with more brain fog and cognitive problems, your decisions aren't as good.

Just watch any television show, the people who drink get into the most trouble.

Just make a list of your friends who drink, the more alcohol, the more problems at work and in their relationships, and so on.

Tips N°3:

So really begin to see it as the enemy, and then find something to replace it with, even if it's as simple as sparkling water with a little lemon or come up with Spa water. Right…

I go to Hawaii and then to Lobby, there's water with a lemon in it or water with an orange in it.

Do something so that you can still, you know, enjoy something to drink, but love something to drink, that loves you back😉
