After the global COVID-pandemic turned the working world upside down and most of us had to or were allowed to go to work in home office, it probably didn't take long for most of us to switch from chinos or skirts to workout pants, leggings or even nothing at all.
Meetings via webcam are changing the world of work. But some people try to trick the system here, too. They quickly throw on a shirt or even a suit jacket to signal professionalism. In secret, however, under the desk, the legs continue to stick out of the boxer shorts or panties.
This is where the project "Pants" comes into play, here the algorithm recognizes the human body and dresses him with virtual clothing.

The project uses python in this framework with OpenCV and MediaPipe's Pose detection to add a real-time pants filter to the video input. The result is piped to a virtual camera output using pyvirtualcam [1][2].
The result is still expandable but funny in any case. Since the framework is public, you can try it out yourself or help with further development. However, I would personally refrain from it when going into the next online meeting, since the filter is producing rather funny results as seen above ;)
