It all started in 2015 he had just broken up with the last love of his life whom he had been with for seven years and was on a sabbatical in the USA.
We started to court him with a few texts and then he called and accepted our proposal.
The last eight years have been fantastic, yes we have had our ups and downs but generally, it has been spot on.
He even gave us a present that we have been waiting 30 years for, that's the kind of relationship we had. See below for his gift to us.*
But alas every good thing comes to an end. He woke up last week and said that he wanted to leave. Asked why and all he could say was that he still loves us but no longer has the energy to continue in this relationship.
Heartbreak. But yes, if he does not want to stay what is the point of forcing him? He will only bring unhappiness to the relationship.
