A Taste for Life and The Poetry Club publications celebrate stories, poems, and articles written by human writers.

We pour our knowledge, experiences, and personality into the stories we write. When I read a story I need to feel a human voice behind the words. Therefore, AI-generated stories and poems are not welcome at A Taste for Life or The Poetry Club publications.

Images generated by AI text-to-image programs are accepted to illustrate a story or poem. You must indicate that it is an AI-generated image as per Medium's guidelines (linked at the end of this post.)

I experimented with various AI text detectors using generated AI text and a couple of my own stories I wrote. Mostly all of the AI stories were detected even when I tried to disguise and change the text.

If I sense, or test, that AI programs were used to generate a story or poem I will decline it in the future and remove the writer from the pub.

Let's keep our stories and poems created by our human experiences, and intelligence as we did in the past. Let's celebrate human creative ingenuity!
