Divine Masculinity covers…
I met a remarkable woman at the bar of Bonefish Grill near my workplace. Her name is Rosa — a name that dances on the tongue like a sweet melody. From Venezuela, she embodies beauty and class, a strength that shines through her choice to wear her hair short with unparalleled elegance. There's something about women with short hair that tugs at my heartstrings, reminding me of my mother. It whispers to me, "I am defying the norms of society!"
Rosa and I delved into a deep conversation about the nature of friendship between men and women. Can it truly exist? Many argue that men only seek value and desire.
But as someone shaped by a rich European culture, I stand in disagreement. I have friends — brothers — scattered across France, Italy, Ireland, Canada, and the UK. Our bonds have withstood the test of time, thriving in the realm of authenticity, free from the shadows of desire.
My best friend resides in Seattle, a British soul married to the wonderful AJ, an American woman who embraces our connection without a trace of jealousy. I believe in the power of brotherly love — a testament to the beauty of genuine friendship. I actually miss having a "male bestie" here in Florida.
You see!?
In a world connected with the threads of friendship, I stand as a woman shaped by the gentle strength of my family — a tapestry of sisters, each thread a different shade of feminine energy.
Losing my loving father at a tender age carved a space in my heart, one that yearned for the guiding influence of masculine energy. It was in the laughter and camaraderie of my closest male friends that I discovered a profound truth: the bond between men and women can flourish without shadows of unspoken physical desires. It can be pure, sincere, safe, covering and protective. It envelops!
I am a true believer that these friendships are not only possible but essential. They offer a balance, a harmony, where we can support each other in our journeys, free from the weight of expectations. My brothers in spirit have taught me strength, calm, resilience, rationality, and the beauty of reliability — a gift I cherish deeply.
The universe, in its wisdom, blessed me with a son — a precious reminder of the balance I seek in my lineage of Amazon women. He stands as a light among the women in my life, a symbol of the strength that comes from embracing both feminine and masculine influences. I see in him the potential to navigate the world with clarity and compassion, to choose a partner wisely, and to make decisions anchored in reason. At least, I pray for it!
For every woman, the presence of men — be it as brothers or friends — adds a layer of richness to our lives. They help us to see the world through different lenses, to embrace a spectrum of perspectives, and to grow into the fullest versions of ourselves.
So here's to the friendships that defy convention, to the bonds that uplift and inspire, and to the belief that we are not equals but complimentary, we find strength. Together, we can create a world where love and respect shine brightly, illuminating the path for future generations.
