A Day in Kalyan
Praful messaged in the morning. He was back from IIM Bodh Gaya. Asked if I was free. Wanted to meet in Kalyan. Said we could catch up at Metro Mall. Old place. Big. Been around.
I said yes.
I took the train. Reached Kalyan. He was waiting near the station with his bike. We rode straight to the mall. It wasn't crowded. We found parking. Walked in.
We hadn't met in months. Seven, maybe eight. Picked up the conversation like it was yesterday. Spoke of Bodh Gaya. Spoke of what people were doing now. Who was where. Who had changed.
He had an idea. A YouTube channel. Content using AI. He seemed sure. I wasn't. Editing. Lights. Scripts. It all felt heavy. He said we could do it. I didn't say no.
We got food. Usual place. The burger was fine. Fries were better. Coke was Coke.
On the way out, I saw the fish tank. People dipping their feet. The fish swarmed. Nibbling. Strange, but people are strange too.
I left around four. Rain hit halfway. The train was packed. But I caught a fast one. Saved fifteen minutes. That was something.
