We say we lack discipline. But every Ramadan, we prove we can delay desire. Food is there. Water is there. No one is watching. Still — we wait Psychology calls this Delayed Gratification — The ability to choose long-term reward over immediate pleasure.

The famous *marshmallow experiment* tested children for minutes. Ramadan tests adults for 30 days. Hunger rises. Thirst rises. Temptation rises. But intention rises higher.

If you can delay food and water… What else are you capable of delaying?
