What Was I Thinking?
1. The pool is a wonderful color blue
2. How can it be such beautiful weather here when Hurricane Ian is still kicking ass and taking names
3. Is it luck or serendipity that made the hurricane turn to Orlando
4. Some people say that Tampa is protected by burial and prayer mounds
5. Where are these mounds, I don't recall ever seeing them.
6. I have seen the beautiful beach areas so I know why the Indians wanted to protect the land
7. Who knows what they did, whatever it is I hope it keeps working
8. Is it selfish to not want the hurricane to come where I am knowing that means it will go somewhere else
9. The hurricane is not a person
10. You do not control the hurricane
11. No one does
12. Only Mother Nature knows what the hurricane will do
13. If there is a Mother Nature, what does she look like
14. I bet she is a shapeshifter to look like whatever she wants
15. One day a tall and brown hourglass with thick braided hair
16. The next a slim thin blonde with a pixie cut
17. The next was a redhead with thick coils hanging down her back and the bluest eyes and the wildest hair that you have ever seen
18. Finally, a BBW cool brunette with color streaks in her hair
19. Mother Nature is a bad bitch so she will reflect the same
20. I bet that Mother Nature would slap all of humanity if she had the chance
21. We do act like roaches sometimes
22. Spreading all over the earth with no regard for the land, the oceans, the mountains
23. Turning whatever we like into something for us
24. Disregarding every creature
25. But we love creatures, pets
26. Humans rescue animals of all sorts every day
27. Humans destroy creatures of all sorts every day
28. Why do we keep living things in our homes
29. Cats
30. Dogs
31. Lizards
32. Guinea pigs
33. Horses
34. Snakes
35. Fish
36. And what about plants
37. Plants are alive
38. If you ever watched a Morning Glory unfold, you know that plants are alive
39. Big fluffy palm plants
40. Colorful flowers that exist for no reason
41. Roses
42. Peonies
43. Cactus
44. Succulents
45. Tulips are one of my favorites
46. I have a green thumb
47. Most of the time
48. But sometimes I run into a plant that dies
49. It makes me sad when my plant dies
50. I try to bring it back
51. Like I am a voodoo priestess
52. But I can not
53. Because I am not a voodoo priestess yet
54. I think one of my grandmas was a Cajun medicine doctor
55. I remember the people
56. Coming to her
57. With cuts and bruises
58. Headaches
59. Menstrual problems
60. And she always gave them something '
61. And they gave her something back
62. Chickens
63. Food
64. Yard clean up but never money'
65. They did not have money
66. But they had good will toward each other
67. Good will is missing today
68. In grocery stores
69. Hospitals
70. Big box stores
71. Car dealerships
72. Anywhere were people service each other
73. Except hospitals
74. Hospitals seem to have people that like people
75. Oh, there are a few bad apples but
76. If you are a good patient
77. Yea I said good like
78. A good boy
79. Or a good girl
80. You will usually get excellent service
81. I only have had one bad nurse
82. Thank goodness for that
83. And she was checked by another nurse on the ward
84. Hospital wards have great equipment
85. Monitoring our hearts
86. Breath
87. Squeezing our legs
88. Pulse
89. And terrible food
90. Well, not so terrible now
91. Compared to the old hospital food
92. The beds are more comfortable too
93. Comfortable but not as much as home
94. Home is where the heart and husband are
95. The children are gone
96. The nest is empty
97. The house is nicer with the kids gone
98. But much quieter
99. Still their love lingers
100. Like the bubble gum stunk to the carpet in their room
Hey there Hogan Torah, I typed the 100th as the timer rang. Not hard, but fun to let my mind wander. Nice one.
But me being me, I think you can do IT faster and better than most — but maybe not faster and better than me. Now that is unknown. But I would like to find out one day.
Below is Hogan Torah throwing down the gauntlet. Give it a spin.
