Over the past few years, my focus has been on creating income streams that I can run in 30 minutes a day or less.
Put into context, that means I can head to my favourite cafe for breakfast, whip out my phone and do the work I need to do before my coffee goes cold.
Getting to this position hasn't been easy, it's taken me years of testing and tweaking and regularly burning everything down and starting over.
But finally I've got a simple system that works, and is repeatable.
Here is how I execute my marketing now, if you want a simple business follow these steps.
Step 1 Work In Reverse
Know your goal and desired outcome before you start. This makes plotting your marketing journey much easier.
This carries through to everything you do.
Start with the desired outcome, the call to action in your emails, and the offer at the end of your article. The Offer you want to sell.
This will help you create content that naturally leads to the desired outcome.
STEP 2: Create Your Messages
What does your ideal customer need to know before they can buy with confidence?
Create a series of "messages" to educate them on your offer and its possible outcomes.
These can be short "Tweet" style messages or longer messages.
The messages can be repeated regularly… look through my articles, how many times to I say "Marketing Is Simple" in a variety of ways?
Guess what?

STEP 3: Answer All Your Audiences Questions Before They Are Asked
Your audience will have a lot of questions that need answering.
Start by making a list of these questions then answer them in your content, lead magnets, email sequences or newsletters.
Knowing the questions you need to answer will give you a head start.
For example one of the questions I need to answer in this article is how can you run a business in just 30 minutes a day?

Step 4: Automate as Much as Possible
Automations are the key to executing this plan.
You should post content daily in the form of Tweets or short posts that are based on the "Messages" you wrote earlier.
These then lead to an automated email sequence via a lead magnet or a "Hook"

Do this daily!.
Posting content creaed around your "messages" should be all you need to do, from there everything is automated.
Content => Email Sequence => Offer
Doing this I generate $6 per subsciber in the first 30 days
STEP 5: Build as You Go (BAYG)
Create and launch as soon as possible, it doesn't need to be perfect.
From there on your job is to study the data to see what's working and adjust and tweak as you go.
