Just now clicked on a link to a post and half of it was missing. I clicked around a bit more and got a 500 error on Medium, followed by this error:
I didn't check to see if it is really a CloudFlare issue or not (looking at domains, IPs, packets, etc. etc. etc. but I presume it is.
What is a 502 error on CloudFlare?
CloudFlare basically says the error is on the side of the hosting provider which means wherever the service you are trying to access is hosted is causing the problem, not CloudFlare itself.
I've been seeing some issues on Medium over time that appear to be caching issues. I think perhaps this last issue I reported is related as I saw something like this again today temporarily but on a published post:
I've mentioned how attackers can try to affect websites before via caching issues. Caching problems and misconfigurations can lead to security problems. Hopefully this gets sorted out sooner than later. I don't have time to try to troubleshoot it further at the moment.
