There are many reasons your life could suck.
There are also many ways you can get it to un-suck, or rather, suck less (because some aspects of life will always suck, right?)
I'm only going to give you one, but believe me, it's enough.
In life, you have to do things that you don't want to do to do the things that you do want to do.
This, my friends, is the bane of our existence. It seems to be the biggest problem for us dream-chasing self-helpers, big and bright-eyed, looking toward the future.
This, my friends, is what makes life suck (in my opinion, at least).
So how do we get this to un-suck for us?
You can't. And you won't.
Okay, maybe you can, but you might not think it a fix.
The only way to come to terms with this truth is to come to terms with it.
There's nothing you can do about it.
On the path toward your dreams, remember that whether it's on the dream path or outside of it, there are going to be tons of things that you have to do that you don't want to do.
The best thing you can do for yourself is to be aware that this will happen, all the time.
Even when you've made your "plans" for the day.
It doesn't matter. That's just life.
It may suck, but you have to just suck it up, roll with the punches, and get after it.
Get it out the way, but treat these "annoyances" as if they aren't annoyances.
Because sometimes they really aren't. Sometimes it may be something that you should really put your attention toward. If anything, let this truth be a reminder that life isn't all about you and that there are things outside of your control.
If everything that asks for your attention outside of your dreams is seen as something that sucks to you, maybe you should reevaluate things.
You're not that important. Yet you are at the same time.
I don't know, find that balance of protecting yourself and your time but also doing other important things that you may not want to.
The reality is that even on the path to your dreams you will still encounter the boring, mundane, routine parts of it that you don't want to encounter.
Everywhere you look, something sucks.
On the opposite spectrum, humans have a tendency to make things a bigger deal, problem, issue, or situation than it actually is.
I don't know why, but maybe you are creating these things to do because your running away from what you really need to do.
Either way, your life sucks, but it's also beautiful.
Eat the frog first, get those things that suck out of the way.
Letting them pile up does nothing for you but make it worse.
It is in your best interest to do those things that suck first so that you can get back to what matters.
