A Clash of Two Worlds: Dreams versus Reality

Life is often lived in between different extremes with dreams being in one region and reality in another. One is where we aspire to be the best and be at our best. Reality is however where struggle, hard work and patience come into play. One such excellent example is of a friend of mine, Ahmed, whose journey was quite an eye opener for me when trying to achieve what one aims for is never too farfetched provided the drive to succeed is strong.

Ahmed lived in a town that was filled with aspiration but in his case, it was right in the middle but he was still glowing with the dreams of striving to be an entrepreneur. Due to a lack of monetary inputs and resources, it was a seeming dream for many of them. Through even innumerable defeats including an absence of money as well as people who believed in him, he never budged from his dream. During the day, he worked his hands to the bone to make ends meet, and at night, he poured over literature on constructing a business.

Years of sleepless nights and tireless efforts finally paid off and Ahmed was able to building a small online shop. The first couple months passed and the results were not promising. But each setback didn't break him over time he learned and improved. Gradually, with persistence, his goals were achieved. Today Ahmed is the proud owner of a business which created job opportunities for others even those who never believed in him.

The story of Ahmed also reminds us that dreams come true. Only through determination towards the harshness of reality can they ever come true.
