Yes, that is me in the lower right corner cheering for a couple of the other cars.

The 1000 stories in 100 days event were going OK, until about day #8, when I had a major blow-out in an early turn. I was more still in the staging area than at a turn, so optimistically, there's still a lot more race to go!

I had three major events occur almost simultaneously that caused much of my problem. but we don't make excuses, we brush ourselves off, grab a couple of sutures and get back in the race.

Don't pay the ransom, I've escaped.

This is my day #14, story #32 not, #140, but hold my beer, here we go!

Don't try to shame me. People have practiced that on me all my life, and it's not very effective. I must either complete the writing race or gather enough excuses to buy a pass. I know the rules.

Come on, it's OK to go ahead and laugh. Those aren't the rules. Mothers cover your kids' ears. You already know I write for me mostly. I do need the money, but you know, I still have to smile, too.

Thanks for reading.
