It's not just a red flag.
It is an ultimate decider.
This thing will decide whether you are going to succeed on Medium or not.
Only 5% writers on Medium do succeed.
What about the remaining 95% ?
They keep roaming in the emptiness of Medium and they remain stuck at the struggling phase.
Why does it happen ?
First and foremost, it's nature. Everywhere in the world, 'Survival of fittest does apply'.
And when it comes to Medium, same is applied here as well.
By the way, I haven't mentioned Red Flag.
I do think that you will understand that after going through this short example.
For those who won't be able to figure out, I will mention that at the end of this story.
Suppose there were 2 classmates who discovered that they can earn by writing on Medium.
Both of them were good at writing.
Now, one among them continued publishing content for a month and he was able to see some bucks coming in.
And same was the case of other one.
Now, 2nd month was in the row and one among them started feeling low.
His rhythm got distrupted.
In short, he got distracted.
He were expecting thousand dollars from Medium which of course isn't possible.
After setting such a towering expectations, he quit at the end of 2nd month.
As he quit Medium, he got in some other thing.
But his classmate kept going.
His classmates compromised on earnings as well but it was his perseverance that after a long period of time, he started earning in hundreds of dollars.
How and why ?
First boy was a complete red flag.
I think you got it.
First boy don't have perseverance while the other one does.
It was the perseverance of the 2nd kid which made him have the fruits of his work.
But the first kid who were devoid of perseverance is left with regret.
So, if you think you can't preserve for a long, stop publishing stories on Medium.
Medium isn't a sprint it's mega marathon.
