Homeschool is easy, homeschool is hard

What makes a homeschool day up anyhow?

We learned things.

We used a pencil?

We laughed.

We read a book?

We got outside into nature.

We watched a video?

We cuddled on the couch.

We had a test?

We opened the Bible.

We had a quiz?

We cooked.

We gardened.

We cleaned.

We went somewhere?

There are so many things that make up a good day!

Sometimes that makes homeschooling easy. Sometimes that makes homeschooling hard.

You have to see where you're headed, what you're building on, what you might be lacking in, and what your ultimate goals are.

You have to doubt yourself and your methods sometimes but not too much or you'll be tempted to overthrow it all.

You have to have structure and flexibility in the right amounts for your life and your kids' futures.

It's easy… but it's hard.
