I know how that is. Most of us have been there at some point. The beginnings are always hard, and the fact that good results don't come to you right away might be a strong demotivation factor.

However, that's the most decisive moment of all. This is the moment when you have to boldly push forward!

Life will never reward us if all we do is set goals and start projects, only to give them up soon after. Good results take time and commitment. You have to keep pushing forward when you feel like giving up.

Medium is not something that comes with high costs and risks. So it's a safe bet or investment. Not only that, but it has the potential to be quite rewarding once you get the hang of it.

It's just that a lot of people give up on Medium too soon, and that's why they don't get to reap the benefits.

Of course, nothing is set in stone. But if you don't even try and give up fast, your chances will go down from "maybe" to "nope" right away.

Medium is a very user-friendly platform that provides a lot of opportunities for everyone. Especially towards new or amateur writers.

I discovered Medium at a time when I could barely write in English. Okay, I wasn't unreadable, but my grammar was poor, and I struggled to express myself in writing.

However, I was set to make it work, and through the use of grammar correction software, I leveled the field as much as I could.

What I liked about this software was that it showed me the typos and errors, which I had to correct by hand. And doing so helped me improve my English.

Now I still use the software, but I'm getting less and less corrections since my grammar and the way I express myself in English have greatly improved.

By sticking around on Medium and doing my thing, I have built my audience, and I'm getting more exposure than before. I'm also making a decent amount of money every month.

The cherry on top is that I even managed to become a Boost Nominator. I dared to try and did not give up, so life rewarded me.

I'm not successful, but I'm doing fine. Better than I ever thought, actually. Yet one thing's for sure: if I gave up on Medium, I wouldn't be here now.

And, oh boy, I came a long way from feeling dejected about my performance to whining about my misfortune — you name it.

If I can do it, so can you. Keep your chin up and do things your way. No matter what happens, that will be an important experience for you.

Trust me, better days will come. For most of us, progress is a slow process, and there's no shame in that.
