There's very little you can be absolutely sure of in this world. As the saying goes, "death and taxes." But I'd add to that, "gratitude."

You can always chose to be grateful. Genuinely. And a Gratitude Journal is a great way to do that.

It's easy to let the events of our life parade by, without marking them, without realizing their deeper significance. A Gratitude Journal acts against this tendency. Give the seed of gratitude the space to grow, it will develop lushly and lavishly.

Do this: take a scrap of paper and jot down a list of things you feel gratitude for. Later, when you remember, take one thing from this list and write another, focused list of why that thing is a blessing to you.
